Primary Interest

Which EO programme someone is here for. One value per person, and it decides what they get invited to.

Primary Interest says which EO programme someone is here for. Pick one value per person.

It decides what they get invited to, so getting it right saves everyone a lot of irrelevant email. This one is EO's own field, not a HubSpot one.

What are the values?

  • Membership. Standard EO chapter membership. They want to join as a full member.
  • Key Exec. The Key Executive programme, for senior leaders inside EO member companies.
  • Accelerator. EO Accelerator, for entrepreneurs who are not at full membership size yet.
  • SAP. Strategic Alliance Partners. Someone whose connection to EO runs through a partner organisation EO works with, rather than through a membership of their own.
  • SLP. Spouses and Life Partners. The programme for the spouses and life partners of members.
  • Next Gen. EO Next Gen, for children and young adults in EO member families.
  • Rise. EO Rise, for emerging entrepreneurs and next-generation leaders.
  • Podcast. They engage through the EO podcast rather than events or programmes.

When do you set it?

At your first real conversation. An intake call, an event follow up, or a look at their application.

Why only one value?

Because a field where everything is ticked selects nobody.

HubSpot would let this be a multiple choice field. EO deliberately keeps it to one, so that a group of people picked by Primary Interest is actually a group. If someone genuinely spans two programmes, put the second one in a note.
